BookMyShow is operated under Big Tree Entertainment Singapore Pte Ltd ("BookMyShow"). Through this Platform, BookMyShow will provide you ("User") entertainment-related information, pricing, availability and reservations for cinema tickets and other events across Singapore ("Services").

BookMyShow is not the ticket seller and only acts as platform provider which handles booking transaction and payment transaction for the Tickets offered in the Platform for the convenience of its User.

This Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") sets out the terms and conditions on which BookMyShow shall provide the Services to User through the Platform.

In order to use our Services, you must be 18 years old or older. If you are under 18 years old, you will need permission from your parents or legal guardians.

By keep accessing this Platform and use the Services from this Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Please read the Terms and Conditions set out below carefully before opting to use the Services provided in the Platform.

Definition and Interpretation

The following words and terms, whenever used in this Terms and Conditions, unless repugnant to the meaning or context, shall have the following meaning:

"We", "us", or "our" all refers to BookMyShow;
"You" or "your" all refers to the User;
"Platform" shall mean the following: (i) websites owned or controlled by BookMyShow accessible through computers or WAP or GPRS enabled mobile phones; (ii) mobile applications of BookMyShow; (iii) voice and data channels (including IVRs) to be facilitated by BookMyShow; and (iv) any other booking medium that BookMyShow may introduce in future;
"Ticket" refers to a ticket or reservation (whether in physical or electronic form, as permitted under law) that allows the holder thereof access to the Theatre, on the date, time and for the film identified in such ticket or reservation;
"Convenience Fee" refers to the fee collected by BookMyShow from the User on User’s booking of a Ticket through the Platform;
"Ticket Provider" refers to a cinema or event organizer who has cooperation with BookMyShow to sell their Tickets on the Platform;
"Privacy Policy" refers to the agreement as displayed on the Platform governing how we collect and store data

Acceptance of Terms

In addition to this Terms and Conditions and depending on the Services opted for by you, you shall be required to read and accept the relevant Term of Services (“TOS”) that may be in place for such Service.

Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to the charges for the Services provided through the Platform.

We will publish any material or substantive modification of the Terms and Conditions on the Platform and you shall be responsible to carefully read such modification. We will notify you on any modification on the Terms and Conditions (if any) by displaying such modification on the homepage of Platform. If you continue to use and access the Platform after any posted amended version of the Terms and Conditions, it will be considered as your acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.

Purchase Policy

Some of our web pages use "cookies" so that we can better serve you with customized information when you return to our site. Cookies are identifiers which a web site can send to your browser to keep on your computer to facilitate your next visit to our site. You can set your browser to notify you when you are sent a cookie, giving you the option to decide whether or not to accept it. The information we collect and analyze is used to improve our service to you.

If you choose not to provide the information we request, you can still visit the BookMyShow website, but you may be unable to access certain options, offers and services.

Bigtree will not sell, trade or disclose to third parties any information derived from the registration for, or use of, any online service (including names and addresses) without the consent of the user or customer (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the user or others). Bigtree will allow suppliers to access the information for purposes of confirming your registration and providing you with benefits you are entitled to.

Certain third parties active in our services, such as Google Adwords, provide you with the ability to opt out of their data collection and information usage for profit-based advertising. You can visit https://www.google.com/settings/ads to learn more to implement options on how types of information can be obtained and used. Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of third-party cookies for personalized ads visiting www.aboutads.info.

By buying a ticket on BookMyShow, you provide consent for us or any of affiliate partners to reach out to you for relevant sponsorship and marketing initiatives.

Bigtree will take appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us. We have implemented technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access and improper use or disclosure. Bigtree will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available.

If our privacy policy changes in the future, it will be posted here and a new effective date will be shown. You should access our privacy policy regularly to ensure you understand our current policies. Please reference the privacy policy in your subject line. Bigtree will attempt to respond to all reasonable concerns or inquiries within five business days of receipt.

Prohibition Against Unlawful Use

As a condition of the use of the Platform, you warrant that you will not use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or illegal under any law for the time being in force within or outside Singapore or prohibited by this Terms and Conditions and/or the TOS including both specific and implied. In addition, the Platform shall not be used in any manner, which could damage, disable, overburden or impair it or interfere with any other party's use and/or enjoyment of the Platform. You shall refrain from obtaining or attempting to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for or through the Platform.

User’s Obligation

In consideration of use of the Platform, you represent and confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract and is not a person barred from using the Platform and/or receiving the Services under the laws of the Republic of Singapore or other applicable law.

To avail a Service you have and must continue to maintain at your sole cost: (a) all the necessary equipment including a mobile phone, computer, and modem etc. to access the Platform (b) own access to the World Wide Web. You shall be responsible for accessing the Services and that access may involve third party fees including, airtime charges or internet Service Provider’s charges which are to be exclusively borne by you.

You also understand that the Services may include certain communications from us as service announcements and administrative messages. You understand and agree that the Services are provided on an "as is" basis and that we do not assume any responsibility for deletions, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalized settings.

You also agree and undertake to immediately notify BookMyShow of any unauthorized use of the User ID or Password and to ensure that you logs off at the end of each session on the Platform. We shall not be responsible for any, direct or indirect, loss or damage arising out of your failure to comply with this requirement.

You also agree to: (a) provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself and any beneficiaries as prompted by the registration form ("Registration Data") on the Platform; and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your registration and refuse any and all current or future use of the Platform and/or any Service.

Breach

Without prejudice to the other remedies available to BookMyShow under this Terms and Conditions or under applicable law, we may limit your activity, or warn other users of your actions, immediately temporarily/indefinitely suspend or terminate your registration, and/or refuse to provide you with access to the Platform if:

you are in breach of this Terms and Conditions and/or other documents it incorporates by reference;
we are unable to verify or authenticate any information provided by you; or
we believe that your actions may infringe on any third party rights or breach any applicable law or otherwise result in any liability for us, you and/or other user.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless BookMyShow, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their directors, officers, agents, contractors, partners and employees from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) asserted against or incurred by BookMyShow that arise out of, result from, or may be payable by virtue of, any breach or non-performance of any representation, warranty, covenant or agreement made or obligation to be performed by you pursuant to this Terms and Conditions.

Severability

If any provision of this Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity or unenforceable shall attach only to such provision or part of such provision and the remaining part of such provision and all other provisions of this Terms and Conditions shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Governing Law

This Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Singapore.
